It started with not being able to find what we were looking for.
There's a version of a gourmet cookie that looks the part, and then completely lets you down on the first bite.
Dry. Too sweet. Forgettable.
That’s where this started.
Marj, Grace, Angela and Martin, the Martirez siblings, began baking for family. Then friends. Then friends. Then small, occasional orders quietly became “you’re the first person we think of” orders.
That’s when it stopped being a hobby.
The orders kept coming because the cookies were genuinely different. And keeping them that way, that became the whole point.

The Ingredients
Nothing gets used just because it’s cheaper or easier.
Every component that we use (the chocolate, the butter, the flour) is chosen because it’s the right one.
You taste that decision in every bite.
The Process
Small batches. On purpose.
And we never saw it as our limitation. It’s just how quality stays consistent.
A large oven full of shortcuts isn’t something we’re interested in.
